LEsprit offers tasty and innovative dishes to a romantic terrace close to Saline Beach. The menu has lots of variety, from light French dishes with a Provencale twist to interesting salads, pastas, burgers, and steak. Do not miss the crab cakes, which are a St Barths tradition. Enjoy a peaceful sunset at the Café Santa Fe, perched atop a high peak with a stunning panorama view of the island. Check out the scene at the legendary Nikki beach club, where the champagne flows freely during the Sunday Tahiti Party. Reservations are highly recommended.

Water Sports
For those feeling the need for speed, take a spin around St Barths in a speedboat. Enjoy the beauty of the island from the water, with 700 horses, and a top speed of 65 mph. Prefer the power of wind? Take a sailboat tour instead. Either way, it is a glorious day on crystal blue waters.

Scuba diving is an often-overlooked way to see a completely different side of the Caribbean. Pick up snorkeling gear and head to secluded Gouverneur Beach, where you will spot angelfish, sergeant majors, sea turtles, and the occasional nurse shark. Plongée Caraibe is recommended for its up-to-the-minute equipment and dive boat. They also run two-hour snorkeling trips on the Blue Cat Catamaran.
Rehattas
Boat lovers and sailors alike will enjoy the regattas of St Barths. Les Voiles de St. Barth began in 2010 with 27 boats. This years race, the 9th annual, takes place from April 14 - 20, 2019 and is expected to draw over 80 boats, with over 1,000 sailors. The goal of St. Barts Sails is simply competition on the water and conviviality on the shore. Boat enthusiasts will enjoy watching some of the biggest names in sailing, including Frenchman Lionel Péan, Loic Peyron, Marc Guillemot, and Berterand De Broc, and from the international scene come Ken Read, Cam Lewis, and Terry Hutchinson.Festivals
The Annual Music Festival, which began in 1985, includes both music and dance performances. Taking place in January, the festival has intimate performances with island breezes. The festival has hosted talented soloists and principals from symphony orchestras and philharmonia from all over the world, and singers from the likes of the Metropolitan Opera, the New York Opera, the Lyric Opera of Chicago, and La Scala in Milan.
